Injections may take 15 to 30 minutes. Once the injection is completed, you will be free to leave and return to your regular daily activities.
Recovery from Juvederm Volbella is extremely minimal. There is no downtime, though some patients may experience redness, swelling, or bruising around injection sites. These conditions should resolve within one week. Makeup, sun exposure, alcohol consumption, and rigorous exercise should be avoided for the first 24 hours following treatment.

Side effects of Juvederm Volbella are generally mild, and most subside within 7 days of treatment. The most common conditions associated with Juvederm Volbella treatments are redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, itching, tenderness, bumps, or discoloration around injection sites.
Most healthy adults are good candidates for Juvederm Volbella. However, there are a few contraindications.
